Disclaimer : Department of Posts does not make any phone calls/SMS to the candidates for depositing any money. Selected candidate is getting system generated SMS only for his selection. The correspondence, if any, is made with candidates through respective Recruiting authority only. Candidates are advised not to disclose their registration number and mobile numbers and be guarded against any unscrupulous phone calls.
1. The portal is re-opened for Assam circle from 27.01.2020 to 09.02.2020.
2. For the candidates who applied earlier and wants to change their options in view of the corrigendum they need to click on the "Apply Online" option and accept the declaration that his/her earlier options will be forfeited if agrees for change of options. All the options selected earlier will be removed and candidate can apply all new options as per the new eligibility. However candidate need not re submit marks, personal details or upload documents.
3. In respect of Fee paid candidates the options can be exercised only for the number of posts equivalent to the fee payment made.
4. For new candidates, registration can be done a fresh and fee payment if required is to be made. He/She needs to submit entire applications options will be populated as per the eligibility.
Steps to Apply
Stage 1. Registration Initially candidate has to register in the Registration module once per cycle and obtain unique registration number
Stage 2. Fee PaymentUR/OBC/EWS Male need to make fee payment. In Case of online payment, if no confirmation is received after the deduction of amount from candidate's bank account, candidates can await upto 72 Hours for settlement.
Offline payments can be made at any Head Post Office.

Stage 3. Apply Online Step 1 . Fill Application. Step 2 . Upload documents. Step 3 . Submit Post preferences. Preview and take print out.Completion of these three steps will only be treated as submission of application.
